Procurement Coordinator (Serbia)

Location: Serbia
Type of work: Remote

    General duties:

  • Identify suppliers and services, negotiate, sign new contracts on favorable conditions
  • Work closely with the projects team to understand details of procurement requirements with local and EU representatives
  • Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients and vendors
  • Organize work with local customs brokers and transport companies
  • Negotiate terms with suppliers such as price, quality of goods, deadlines, expectations, etc.
  • Organize supply chains for logistics services in the procurement: delivery and storage of medicines

    Requirements to candidates:

  • Experience in logistics or distribution of medicines
  • Proven experience working as a procurement specialist, project manager or key account specialist in the same area required
  • Strong knowledge of the industry and market conditions (procurement of pharmaceuticals, medical products, clinical trials supply and organization)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Impeccable negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Flexible to work long hours as demanded by projects
  • Able to travel to meet vendors and suppliers as necessary
  • Additional certification in the field of procurement, pharm industry desired, GDP certification as an advantage
  • Bachelor or Master's degree preferred
