First “Breakfast with a Logistician”: how it was

The first meeting within the framework of the COREX project “Breakfast with Logistics” was attended by more than 60 representatives of large and mid-sized pharmaceutical and clinical research companies, laboratories and logistics experts. The guests participated in a discussion on trends and the latest news of the pharmaceutical industry, specifically on the issues related to the purchase of comparator drugs, insurance of proper cold chain management, compliance with GCP and GPD standards. The topic of cargo insurance in the face of violation of temperature regimes triggered a very heated discussion, and many participants suggested to dedicate the next meeting to the issues of interaction with insurance companies and related risks. Happy to oblige, we will be discoursing these topics with an esteemed panel of industry experts at the upcoming “Breakfast with a Logistician”, which will take place on November 23.
