It’s all change for healthcare providers and professionals in Kazakhstan as amended Ministry of Health-applied certification rules come into effect.
A licence is needed to conduct medical and pharmaceutical activities, along with the import and export of organs, tissues and blood and also the provision of healthcare hygiene services.
The changes apply to the rules for certification and verification of the healthcare specialist certificate, including foreign specialists, and for specialists who received medical and pharmaceutical education in healthcare outside of Kazakhstan.
Specialists are now required to provide a detailed and comprehensive list of documents in electronic format including educational diplomas, certificates of declared speciality and advanced qualification along with ID and work permits.
Final certification is granted on completion of an assessment of professional readiness and is subject to confirmation every five years.
