Quarantine storage of drugs and clinical trial materials

COREX Logistics warehouses are equipped with designated areas for the storage of drugs and clinical research materials. This ensures appropriate storage and the safety of all goods in our warehouses. Access to these zones is restricted. According to client instructions goods are allocated to the following zones.

Quarantine zone for destruction

Goods designated for destruction are stored here. On the agreed date, the goods are handed over for destruction to the client or a licensed partner company.

Quarantine storage area for returns

This zone includes all drugs and clinical trial materials for which a return from a client or research center is issued. The reason for the return may be due to completion of research, expiration date, or customer request. In the future, the cargo from this area is sent for destruction or transferred for further shipment at the request of the client.

Primary quarantine

Medicines are placed in this zone if the cargo has a non-marketable appearance, damaged packaging, incomplete documentation or unclear origin. We store it in this zone until all issues identified are clarified.

All processes carried out in temperature controlled and secure warehouse facilities.

Marking and labeling of medicinal products

In accordance with GxP standards.

Return of medicinal products, materials and equipment

Return, disposal and destruction of investigational products from clinical trials during and at the end of studies.

Certified destruction of drugs

We manage returns and carry out certified destruction of drugs and materials during and at the conclusion of clinical studies.
