Corex Opens Clinical Trial Logistics Hub In Kyiv, Ukraine

The New State-of-the-art Depot Positions Supply Chain Provider as Regional Leader

DUBLIN, IRELAND (Newswire) - Corex announced today the opening of a new depot and logistics hub in Kyiv, Ukraine. This expansion solidifies the company's position as the regional clinical trials logistics leader in the post-soviet space.
Corex has experienced a robust and steady operational growth in Ukraine which has prompted the opening of the new Kyiv location. After careful market analysis and as a response to increasing demand, the Company has determined that a strategically located depot with a full scope of logistics services would be the most logical next step. The opening also reinforces Company's commitment to further expanding its already significant footprint in the region.

Ukraine is the largest and 8th most populous European country with approximately 45 million inhabitants. Its clinical trials legislation is harmonized with respective EU directives and guidelines and the high quality of clinical trial data has been corroborated by the FDA and the EMA inspections. The number of clinical trials in Ukraine is on the rise and, given its low per capita engagement, is expected to increase exponentially over the next decade .

The Corex Ukraine new facility has been recently inspected by the Ukrainian State Administration on Medicinal Products and has been awarded a pharmaceutical license. The depot’s modern equipment allows to accommodate every type of cargo. Its temperature-controlled regimes and walk-in refrigerators ensure medicinal products’ integrity from pickup to delivery and its full GxP compliance attests to the highest quality of services.
Rostislav Kachan, Head of Corex Ukraine, remarked, “Given our previous experience operating in Ukraine and Company’s history of building premier turn key logistics hubs, we have hit the ground running and have already started managing the existing clients via our outstanding facility. We are convinced that this latest addition to Corex international infrastructure will serve as a stepping stone to both strengthening the existing operations and opening new markets in the coming months.”
