One more country appeared on the map of COREX Logistics: along with Ireland, Russia, Georgia, Armenia, Ukraine and Belarus, we’ve added Kazakhstan to our growing list of locations. The office in Almaty will allow the company to connect the European and Asian markets and respond even faster to customer needs.
Kazakhstan is an important emerging market for clinical trials offering enormous potential for international sponsors. In recent years, its government has actively sought to develop the pharmaceutical sector, localise production of medicines and develop its clinical research profile. This has led some of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies to invest in the country and consider Kazakhstan as a location for clinical studies.
To support this growing sector with logistics and supply of clinical trials in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, COREX has opened a full-fledged representative office in Almaty. The office is under the management of Natalia Andrievskaya as the head of COREX Kazakhstan.
Our Kazakhstan office offers expertise and support in the following services:
Import and export of unregistered drugs and medical devices for clinical trials;
Export of samples of biomaterials for clinical trials;
Import of unregistered drugs for preclinical studies;
Import of laboratory equipment and supplies;
Import of medicinal products for vital indications (named patient programme);
Procurement of medicines and medical devices for clinical trials.
Additionally, COREX Kazakhstan will :
Prepare documents and obtain permits for import and export of medicines, biological samples and medical devices;
